Since Sunday, the song that has become the soundtrack to my life these days is Myron Butler’s “Speak”. Pastor J reminded us that what we speak and declare into the atmosphere is the vehicle in which the goodness of God comes our way. So the question ought to be raised, “What have you spoken into the atmosphere today?”

Genesis 37:3 speaks of how Jacob loved and favored Joseph so much that he marked him with a coat of many colors. Likewise, our father God has marked us with our very own coat of many colors. The favor we possess lies in the power of what we speak and believe.

Many of us have dreams that God has implanted on the inside of us. However, the journey from the vision to fruition can lead us into a deep, dark pit faced with a panel of naysayers. Unfortunately these naysayers can come in the form of your own family, but EVERYTHING works out for the good of those who love Christ! Joseph’s own brothers selling him into slavery still did not intercept God’s plan of making him ruler over Egypt.

Joseph needed the adversity he experienced to mature him for his future position in the palace. Insert your palace into the blank, declare it into the atmosphere, and watch God advance your position from pit to palace! Higher D, what will you declare today?
