If anyone knows about stages, it’s Tyler Perry. Reports of the four-alarm fire that occurred last week at the accomplished playwright’s Atlanta studio caused all who appreciate his talent to be concerned with his well-being and for the future of the shows we’ve come to enjoy.

Doesn’t it seem that every person in life goes through stages? Stages of ups and stages of downs? Stages of adolescence and then stages of adulthood? Stages of anger and stages of happiness?

At the same time life is a stage, too. Everywhere we travel is a platform to perform for who we’re entertaining at the moment, either working in construction or behind a desk. Life has Acts. Life has situations where people ‘Enter Stage Right’ and others who ‘Exit Stage Left’. Everything happens for a reason because it’s all a part of the ‘Plot’.

Destiny is God having Life already planned. There is a Script to follow and we must seek Him for its acquisition. It is already written – we just have to play out the scenes in His will.  The Director gave us His son, the Producer, so that we may come to understand our Scripts. The Producer explains how it should be, but it will do us a disservice if we do not heed His guidance for the best scene possible. For the best outcome, prayer must be embraced and cultivated often. I mean, if Jesus prayed, we should too, right?
